What I Can Help With

I specialize in cat adventure and enrichment, which means I am well-equipped to help you with things like:

harness training
carrier, backpack, or stroller training
car training
introducing your cat to the outdoors
getting your cat comfortable in new environments
creating an enrichment plan for hyperactive or easily bored cats

I do not offer general behavior consultations, so I do not address litter box issues, multi-cat conflicts, etc. My expertise is enrichment and adventure training.

Your strategy session is guaranteed to be personalized, structured, and actionable.

📝 STEP 1 – ASSESSMENT
After booking, you’ll complete a detailed questionnaire so I can understand your cat’s personality, confidence level, routine, environment, and your specific goals.

🧭 STEP 2 – STRATEGY
I create a customized Adventure & Enrichment Strategy designed specifically for your cat. We’ll meet over Zoom to walk through the plan together, adjust as needed, and answer all your questions so you leave feeling clear and confident about how to move forward.

🚀 STEP 3 – IMPLEMENTATION
You’ll receive your personalized plan, a recording of our session, and (if you choose) ongoing support to help you implement the strategy smoothly and successfully.

About Me

Hey there, I’m Emily — certified cat trainer and lifelong cat adventure enthusiast.

For more than a decade, I’ve been hiking, camping, road-tripping, and exploring with my cats — successfully harness and leash training all 8 of them over the years. Each one has taught me something new about confidence, curiosity, and meeting a cat’s individual needs.

But my experience doesn’t stop with my own cats. I’ve also helped countless cat guardians safely introduce adventure and enrichment into their cats’ lives — from backyard outings to structured indoor enrichment plans.

What I’ve learned is this: adventure and enrichment go hand in hand. Not every cat needs big outings. Sometimes the most powerful transformation comes from simple, confidence-building experiences tailored to the individual cat.

My passion is helping you create safe, engaging experiences that help your cat thrive — whether indoors, outdoors, or somewhere in between.

Frequently Asked Questions

I am happy to work with cats of all ages and experience levels! No previous adventure or training experience is required.

However, I do not address severe behavioral issues. If you believe your cat has a more severe behavioral issue (litter box issues, multi-cat aggression, etc., I recommend reaching out to a Cat Behavior Consultant.

My specialty is safe outdoor exploration as well as enrichment strategy. This means I am well-equipped to help with things like harness and leash training, introducing your cat to new environments, carrier training, car training, and coming up with a well-rounded enrichment plan to meet your cat’s needs.

If you are unsure if your particular struggle or goal is something I can help with, you are welcome to send me an email to traininghelp@kittycatgo.com and ask! I am happy to give you an honest assessment on whether or not I think I can help you and your cat.

Within 24 hours of purchasing a session, you’ll receive an email with a private scheduling link to select the most convenient day and time.

I make every effort to ensure your session is scheduled within 3 weeks of purchase so you can begin making progress right away.

Follow-up support is available as an optional add-on for $50 and includes one month of continued guidance after your session.

During that time, you can reach out via email or Voxer to ask questions, share updates, and send photos or videos as you implement your strategy plan. If you run into roadblocks or uncertainty, you won’t have to figure it out alone.

This option is highly recommended because real progress happens during implementation. As you begin working with your cat, new questions often come up. Follow-up support allows me to monitor how things are going, make thoughtful adjustments to your strategy plan if needed, and provide additional recommendations to keep you moving forward.

It also provides helpful accountability — so you stay consistent and confident as you work toward your goals.

If you need support beyond the initial month, additional months can be added.

Voxer is a free app (available on iOS and Android) that allows you to send voice messages back and forth. You can also share text messages, photos, and videos through the app.

If you choose to add the month of follow-up support, Voxer is available as an easy, convenient way for us to communicate. Prefer email? That’s absolutely fine too — you can choose the option that works best for you.
