The Best of Global Pet Expo 2025: Cat Travel & Enrichment Edition
On March 26-27th, 2025, I had the pleasure and privilege of attending the world’s largest pet-industry trade show – Global Pet Expo (GPE). Attending GPE is a wonderful opportunity to see what pet businesses and products are brand new or even coming soon. It’s also fun to analyze the trends and see where the pet industry is heading.
The cat adventure niche is still quite new (though continuously growing). Even the idea of cat enrichment is pretty new. As someone who is considered a leader within the cat travel and adventure niche specifically, I am always interested to see what new products are coming out that can enhance or support cat adventuring, help improve our cats’ lives, and build that bond between humans and cats.
I am pleased to share that, based on what I saw at GPE, cat lovers have a lot to be excited about! There were more cat enrichment and travel products than ever before, and there was such an emphasis on pets as family. There were also several cats in attendance (including two of my own). The industry is finally catching up to our hearts!

What is Global Pet Expo?
Presented by the American Pet Products Association (APPA) and the Pet Industry Distribution Association (PIDA), Global Pet Expo takes places over three days in the Orange County Convention Center in Orland, FL. The show brings together brands of all sizes, independent retailers, distributors, mass-market buyers, members of the media, and other qualified pet professionals from all over the world.
This year’s show included 21K+ attendees, 1K+ new product launches, 1.1K+ exhibiting companies, and 3.1K+ booths. Products highlighted on the show floor are designed for pets of all kinds, including dogs, cats, birds, horses, fish, reptiles, small animals, farm animals, and more.
The show also includes a multitude of educational sessions, press conferences, and even parties.
Watch my video below to get a glimpse into our time at GPE this year:
What was I doing at Global Pet Expo?
Though I was only able to attend GPE for 1.5 days, I used my time wisely to scout out brands and products specifically related to cat adventure, travel, training, and enrichment. Before I got there, I had already made a list of the booths I knew I wanted to stop by, but I was pleasantly surprised to find several new ones along the way that I wasn’t expecting!
I was also able to network with other pet-industry professionals, take interviews with a couple pet-industry magazines, and make connections with other cat adventurers.

My Favorite Cat Products at Global Pet Expo
As mentioned, my main focus was finding new and innovative products related to cat adventure, travel, training, and enrichment, and I was so excited to see that there were MANY new products and brands that fit the bill!
Below you can discover my favorite finds. And no, I am not being paid to promote these brands or products, nor am I receiving any commission on purchases. They just caught my attention while I was at GPE, and I wanted to share about them with you.
Disclaimer: I have not personally tested these products yet. I was only able to see them and talk with the brand representatives to learn more about them. I did receive a few product samples, but I have not had the chance to thoroughly tested them out yet. Product reviews will be coming in the near future.
Favorite Cat Adventure/Travel Products
LootPaw
One of the most common questions I get from cat adventurers (probably second to, “What is the best cat harness?”) is, “What is your favorite cat tracker?” I am always testing one out so I can report back to you on my findings, and I have a BRAND NEW one to test out soon!
LootPaw is the newest health and GPS pet tracking device on the market, having just launched 3 weeks before Global Pet Expo. It boasts features such as:
- waterproof and durable
- lightweight and compact, weighing just 35 grams
- daily activity and health monitoring
- the ability to create safe zones / geofences
- the ability to track your cat in real-time
I look forward to testing out the LootPaw and reporting back on its full functionality and abilities!

Travel Cat
If you’ve been adventuring with your cat for any time at all, you’ve probably heard of Travel Cat. They are the premier brand for cat backpacks and adventure accessories. I had the chance to inspect their newest backpack, the Travel Cat Navigator, which has so many amazing features, such as:
- sturdy frame that will support cats up to 25lbs
- breathable mesh windows
- converts to a duffle style carrier for car and air travel
- ample pocket storage
- water reservoir pocket for water bladder
- + so much more!
The Navigator has been on my backpack wishlist for a while, and it just moved up to the top slot after seeing how awesome it is in person.

Travel Cat was also exhibiting an amazing cat stroller that is not yet available but coming soon. It has every feature you could ever want in a stroller, and I can’t WAIT for it to come out. They’re hoping for an end-of-summer release, so keep your eyes peeled!
Cooler Dog
Don’t let the name fool you… though Cooler Dog may market their cooling products for dogs, they are also great for cats too. I was especially excited to learn more about their Mini Hydro Cooling Mat.
I have tried out a few different cooling mats in both my cats’ backpacks and strollers during the warmer months, but most of them use some kind of cooling gel inside the mats. I am always nervous about my cats claws puncturing the mats, and then my cats being exposed to the chemical gels inside the mats.
With the Hydro Cooling Mat, that is NOT a concern. For one, the outer cover for the mat is extremely thick and durable – so basically no chance a cat’s nails will puncture or rip it. For another, the mat is powered by a pure water FlexiFreeze ice sheet – so even if your cat did happen to puncture or rip the mat, it would just leak water. No harmful chemicals or gels.
FleasGone
Fleas and ticks are always a concern when adventuring outdoors with our cats. Though I understand the importance of flea and tick prevention, I really don’t like the idea of applying a chemical treatment to my cats every month, so I am always on the lookout for natural, yet effective prevention methods.
For this reason, I was interested to discover FleasGone while at GPE. FleasGone is a non-toxic preventative in the form of a tag that attaches to your cat’s (or dog’s) collar.
According to the FleasGone website, “the electromagnetic charge in the FleasGone Tag forms a protective shield around the animal’s body, within 30 days after it is attached to the pet’s collar. The electromagnetic field in FleasGone Tag interacts with the natural electromagnetic waves from the heart, and is a key element in generating scalar waves that repel parasites such as fleas and ticks.”
I haven’t tested the tag out yet to know if it truly works, but the website boasts a 100% satisfaction rate. I’ll be curious to research it more and maybe give it a test run.
Favorite Cat Enrichment Products
Vee Enterprises
I am always on the hunt for the next best cat wand toy, so I was so excited to stumble upon the Vee Enterprises booth while I wandered the show room floor.
They have been around for over 30 years, handcrafting amazing cat wand toys here in the US, made from durable, pet-safe materials, that have flexible connection points, and that contain no metal pieces. They have 18 different styles of wand toys!
Sophie got to test the PURRfect® Leather Bouncer while we were there, and she loved it so much they let us take it home. Since getting back home, the whole gang here has been loving our nightly playtime using the new Leather Bouncer. I look forward to adding to our Vee Enterprises wand toy collection.

Pawzler
I saw so many different food puzzles and slow feeders on the show room floor, but Pawzler was my favorite. I am a big fan of using food puzzles for cats, but the cats eventually figure them all out, and then you have some place to store them all. Pawzler solves both of those problems!
They’ve come up with an innovative food puzzle design that features a set of modular pieces that can be arranged in endless ways. This essentially allows you to continuously re-invent the puzzle to keep it interesting. You can even combine different sets together to make even larger food puzzle arrangements.
Pawzler is the Lego of pet food puzzles!

Karma Cat
I use snuffle mats on a regular basis for both our cats and dog. They are great for calming an anxious cat, keeping them occupied, and engaging their senses for an enriching treat or mealtime experience.
There are so many snuffle mats on the market, but none as visually appealing as the ones I discovered at the Karma Cat booth! Karma Cat has been making handcrafted wool pet toys and beds for years, but they will soon be coming out with this line of wool snuffle mats that I can’t wait to try!

Favorite Miscellaneous Cat Products
Lick-a-Day
I’m sure you’ve probably discovered the magic of lickable, squeezie treats. There are several different brands that make these types of treats. I have yet to meet a cat that doesn’t love them. I personally use them all the time for training and while we’re out on adventures.
I am always keeping my eye out for new ones to try, so I was really excited discover the newly launched Lick a Day treats by Petbeing. According to their website, “each tube is packed with the purest ingredients and doubles as a source of essential vitamins and supplements, ensuring your pet receives the nutrition it needs in the form it loves most: irresistible puree cat treats. Tailored for both adult cats and kittens, our luscious lickables are crafted from real meat sourced entirely in the USA, making them a premium choice among pet owners seeking quality above all else.”

Each tube includes vitamins and supplements that support 7 different areas of your cat’s health:
- Eye Health
- Skin & Coat
- Hips & Joints
- Fresher Litter Box
- High Energy Levels
- Improved Metabolism
- Heart & Immune support
Sophie got to taste test a Lick a Day, and she LOVED it! I will definitely be getting some of these for my crew. I love that the ingredients are healthy, and the treats are still super delicious (according to Sophie).
UnRuffled Pets
One of our cats, Gryphon, struggles with anxiety. I use several different calming products for him, including collars, diffusers, and treats. I know travel anxiety is common in cats who adventure as well, so I try my best to stay current on the various calming products available.
UnRuffled Pets is a new company that makes several cat calming aids, including a collar, a spray, and a plug-free diffuser. While I use pheromone diffusers off and on in our home, I’ll admit that they always make me nervous. I’m so paranoid about them being a fire hazard, so I am THRILLED to try out the UnRuffled Pets plug-free diffuser.
Really, I’m excited to try out all their products!
FurZapper
Now this is a product that definitely fits into the “miscellaneous” category. It has absolutely nothing to do with cat adventure, travel, training, or enrichment… but as someone who has 5 cats and a dog that sheds more than all the cats combined, I am always battling pet hair. I figured you might be too!
FurZapper is a US-made product that you put into the washer and dryer with your clothes, and it removes the pet hair. They are reusable, hypoallergenic, non-toxic, and fragrance-free. I’ve got two of them now and will definitely be adding them to my next load of laundry.

I will be creating more video and written content for some of these products, which will include my thorough review and more details about each product and brand. Be sure to subscribe to my YouTube channel so you are sure to catch the videos.
Until then, I’ll be looking forward to next year’s Global Pet Expo!
