The cold weather is here, and you’re thinking that means your adventuring has to come to a halt until the weather warms back up. While not every cat (or human) will enjoy winter adventures, the good news is the cold doesn’t necessarily have to mean a break in adventuring. With some gear and preparation, you and your cat can enjoy those snowy outings together.
In this episode of the KittyCatGO Adventure Podcast, I chat with Stephanie Ketterer all about winter adventures with your cat. Everything from safety to tips to gear recommendations, Stephanie has lots of advice to share.
I think we go more by how we feel versus the actual number of the temperature. I mean, as a general rule, we try not to take them out when it’s more than -10°C, but there’s times when it might be warmer than that but if its windy or raining or cloudy it just might feel colder than other days where it’s -15° and sunny out. So we gauge it by how we feel mostly. If we can go outside with no gloves and no touk, then the kitties should be fine.
